Information On Lake Simcoe
Lake Simcoe is the fourth largest lake in Ontario, after Lake Nipigon, Lac Seul and Lake Nipissing. It is one of the largest freshwater lakes to completely freeze over in the winter in the world. It has an average depth of around 15 meters and the maximum depth of 41 meters. The Talbot River conects the Lake Simcoe to Kawartha Lakes system and Lake Ontario. It has the total area of 744 squared kilometers and is situated 219 meters above the sea level. Lake Simcoe is a popular fishing spot and it specializes in Walleye, Northern Pike and Yellow Perch.
