Information On Sturgeon Lake

Sturgeon Lake is 87 kilometers long and  about 10 kilometers wide at its widest point.  South end of the Sturgeon Lake is the deepest part, with the maximum depth of about 93 meters.  North end of the lake is much shallower with numerous islands and rocky sections. Sturgeon Lake is a deep and very cold lake with the deepest hole over 91 meters making it one of the best trout habitat lakes in Ontario and is considered one of Canada's premier Lake Trout fishing lakes.
